Leonardo's Ferry in Imbersago

Designed by Leonardo Da Vinci, it connects Imbersago with Villa d’Adda on the Bergamo side. It moves without a motor by exploiting the strength of the current and the fixed rope system between the two opposite banks of the river.

Electric boat with navigation (duration 45 minutes) with departure and return in Brivio and intermediate stops in Imbersago, Villa d’Adda and Robbiate. To immerse yourself and observe the nature of the pre-Alpine lake landscape, rich in fauna, aquatic flora and history. In the background the Alps mountains are reflected in the river, and on the way back the wonderful view of the Lungo Adda with the Brivio Castle.

“San Michele” Bridge in Paderno d'Adda

Built between 1887 and 1889, it connects the Milano and Bergamo banks, divided by the Adda river. It is an iron arch bridge, a masterpiece recognized as one of the symbols of Italian industrial archaeology; in 2017 it was a candidate to be included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites.

Sanctuary of the “Madonna del Bosco” in Imbersago

Seventeenth-century sanctuary linked to the cult of the Blessed Virgin after her apparitions. A pilgrimage destination for Pope John XXIII and much felt in the Milan area, the large staircase consisting of 346 steps in total is characteristic.

Workers' Village of Crespi D'adda

Built starting in 1877, due to the exceptional state of conservation of its historical and architectural heritage it was listed among the world heritage sites by UNESCO in 1955; it is in fact the best preserved workers’ village in southern Europe.
By visiting the website www.villaggiocrespi.it it is possible to book guided tours.

“Taccani” hydroelectric power plant in Trezzo sull'Adda

Built between 1860 and 1938, it is still perfectly preserved and active today, owned by Enel; represents a wonderful example of industrial archaeology.
